Scout is built by Hakvoort shipyard in Monnickendam and delivered in April 2019. The explorer yacht measures 63,72 metre long and has a beam of 11.6 metres. She has a draft of 3,36 metres. Because of Scout’s high bow, exposed tenders and forward-sloping windows Scout has a trawler-aesthetic and rugged look. Scout is built for an experienced owner, so the yard, owner’s team and designers closely collaborated on every aspect of her design.

Powered by twin CATERPILLAR 3512C diesel engines, Scout is designed to cruise at 12.5 knots. But Scout will be able to reach a top speed of 14.8 knots. At 12.5 knots, Scout has an autonomous range of 4,800 nm. Combined with easy technical accessibility, minimum maintenance requirements and an Ice Class hull, Scout will live up to her ocean-going credentials.
