SCOUT

Explorer yacht Scout built in April 2019 by Dutch shipyard Hakvoort in Monnickendam. She features both interior and exterior design by the British design studio, H2 Yacht Design while Diana Yacht Design is responsible for her naval architecture. The timeless and elegant superyacht measures 63,72 metre long. She has a beam of 11.6 metres and a draft of 3,36 metres. Because of Scout’s high bow, exposed tenders and forward-sloping windows, Scout has a trawler-aesthetic and rugged look. Scout is built for an experienced owner, so the yard, owner’s team and designers closely collaborated on every aspect of her exterior and interior design.

Exterior design details such as SCOUT’s high bow, exposed tenders in the bow with cut-down bulwarks and integrated forward-sloping windows embody the trawler aesthetic of her design. Amongst some of SCOUT’s notable features include a helideck as well as an expansive sun deck complete with a large Jacuzzi and unobstructed views fore and aft.In add ition to a dedicated owner’s deck, SCOUT accommodates eight guests across four staterooms on the main deck, each designed with a specific nautical theme. Powered by twin CATERPILLAR 3512C diesel engines, Scout is designed to cruise at 12.5 knots. But Scout will be able to reach a top speed of 14.8 knots. At 12.5 knots, Scout has an autonomous range of 4,800 nm. Combined with easy technical accessibility, minimum maintenance requirements and an Ice Class hull, Scout will live up to her ocean-going credentials.
