Dione Star (ex-Colombaio Star) is a sistership of DIANA’s Mata Mua (ex-Colombaio Sun), and ‘cousin’ of the Colombaio Sky.

She is a sailing yacht with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. She reaches Maximum speed under power 12,6 knots, and a maximum reported speed under sail 14,6 knots.

The Dione Star has a moderately long keel, a cut away forefoot and a deep mariner rudder. Everything has been undertaken to reduce the wetted surface in order to obtain maximum sailing performance without sacrificing sea keeping. The yacht carries an impressive 6.400 square feet of sails. The in-mast and fore-stay furling allows for quick setting and easy handling of all sails.
