Hamburg Martime Forum 2025
On April 1st and 2nd, the Hamburg Maritime Forum 2025, organized by the IGGS Group, welcomed global maritime leaders to the historic Fischauktionshalle—one of Hamburg’s most iconic venues. The two-day event brought together over 450 top maritime professionals, including shipowners, ship managers, shipbuilders, classification societies, port authorities, and technology innovators.
With the theme “Tradition Meets Innovation”, the forum explored the evolving dynamics of the maritime industry, bridging time-tested practices with pioneering technologies. Attendees engaged in 10 thought-provoking panel discussions and numerous expert presentations—each focused on solving today’s most urgent industry challenges.
We’re proud to highlight that our colleague, Albert Haasnoot (Naval Architect), was invited as a panelist in the high-impact discussion: “Decarbonizing the Seas – Challenges, Innovations, and Solutions.”
As the maritime sector continues to chart a more sustainable course, the Hamburg Maritime Forum and other forums like these, are crucial platforms for knowledge exchange, strategic partnerships, and driving meaningful change.
