Lollipop completes North Sea sea trials ahead of delivery
LOLLIPOP, the eighth hull in the Moonen Yachts’ 122 Martinique series, has successfully completed her final sea trials in the North Sea ahead of delivery later this summer.
The 37.4-metre steel-hulled superyacht is part of the proven Dutch-built platform developed by Moonen Yachts together with Diana Yacht Design. Designed for long-range cruising and comfortable family living, the 122 Martinique series combines efficient performance, reliable seakeeping and refined onboard comfort within a semi-custom superyacht platform.
Diana Yacht Design is responsible for the naval architecture and structural engineering of the series, supporting the yacht’s hull performance, stability, technical integration and overall construction development across multiple builds.
Conducted over several days in demanding North Sea conditions, the sea trials validated the yacht’s manoeuvrability, endurance, onboard systems and comfort levels under operational conditions. Noise and vibration performance, stability and overall seakeeping behaviour were tested extensively throughout the programme.
Designed by René van der Velden, the 122 Martinique series is recognised for its purposeful exterior profile, efficient layout and transatlantic cruising capability. Powered by twin CAT engines, the platform offers a top speed of 17 knots and a range of approximately 4,000 nautical miles at 10 knots.
As the eighth yacht in the series, LOLLIPOP continues the evolution of a platform refined through years of yacht engineering, construction experience and owner customisation.
Following the successful completion of her sea trials, LOLLIPOP now enters her final preparation phase ahead of delivery.
