NIMBUS

Nimbus (ex. Alaska) is a sister ship of Darsea, Sofia II and Heerlijckheid (ex. Livadia) and drawn by Rene van der Velden. Her naval architecture and engineering is by Diana Yacht Design. She was built by Moonen  Yachts at their facilities in the Netherlands and delivered to her owners in 2012, as Alaska.

Nimbus’ interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests overnight in 4 cabins, comprising a master suite, 1 VIP stateroom, and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 3 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

30 Metre Nimbus features a full displacement steel hull and aluminium superstructure. She was built to Lloyds Register classification society rules, and is MCA LY2 Compliant.

Motor yacht Nimbus is equipped with an stabilization system which reduces roll motion effect and results in a smoother more enjoyable cruising experience underway. Powered by two Caterpillar (C-18 DITA) 601hp diesel engines and propelled by her twin screws propelles Nimbus is capable of a top speed of 13 knots and comfortably cruises at 12 knots.
