Nimbus (ex. Alaska) is a sister ship of Darsea, Sofia II and Livia and drawn by Rene van der Velde and naval architecture by Diana Yacht Design. This yacht is shaped with a round-bilge hullform. Nimbus was built by Moonen in the Netherlands at their ‘s-Hertogenbosch shipyard, she was delivered to her owner in 2012 as Alaska.

Nimbus’ interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests overnight in 4 cabins, comprising a master suite, 1 VIP stateroom, and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 3 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience. Nimbus features a full displacement steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. She was built to Lloyds Register classification society rules, and is MCA LY2 Compliant.
Motor yacht Nimbus is equipped with an ultra-modern stabilization system which reduces roll motion effect and results in a smoother more enjoyable cruising experience underway. Powered by 2 Caterpillar (C-18 DITA) 601hp diesel engines and propelled by her twin screws propelles motor yacht Nimbus is capable of a top speed of 13 knots and comfortably cruises at 12 knots.
